Job summary

Medconnect in the Chicagoland area seeks a Pediatric Urgent Care Physician to join its team in Wheaton and Oak Brook, Illinois. The role offers flexible full-time or part-time schedules with rapid credentialing and a multi-shift pattern including 6-, 8-, and 12-hour options.

The physician will care for a broad pediatric patient mix, supervise advanced practice providers, and contribute to a fast-paced outpatient environment with access to Athena EMR and a strong community focus.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required, with pediatric training.
• Board certification or eligibility through ABP/ABFM/ABIM/ABEM preferred.
• Illinois medical license and DEA registration required.
• PALS/CPR certification and EMR proficiency expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric urgent care for a varied case mix.
• Supervise and mentor advanced practice providers.
• Perform immunizations, exams, laceration repair and minor procedures as needed.
