Job summary

Northwest Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide evaluative, therapeutic, and consultative services for children with language and speech delays. The role supports families across home, school, and community settings, with a flexible schedule in a hybrid Seattle-based program.

The ideal candidate holds a MA/MS in Speech-Language Pathology and WA SLP license, with pediatrics experience; CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Qualifications

  • MA/MS degree in communications disorders or equivalent with Speech-Language Pathology focus.
  • Washington State Speech-Language Pathology License required or to be obtained.
  • One+ year experience in pediatrics or pediatric affiliation training preferred.
  • Must own a car and have insurance meeting state requirements; WA driver's license.
  • CPR and First Aid certification current or obtain.
  • Experience with Early Supports or pediatric caseload including birth-to-three preferred.
  • Non-English language service experience, feeding therapy, or infant mental health experience desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evaluative, therapeutic, and consultative SLP services to children with language, cognitive, social-emotional, and speech needs.
  • Collaborate with families, staff, and community partners to support child development.
  • Work within a hybrid scheduling framework; contribute to program objectives and family-centered care.
