Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking Speech Language Pathologists to deliver early intervention services to infants and toddlers in homes and community settings.

Flexible schedules and locations, with competitive hourly rates ($65–$75) based on experience, plus sign-on bonus, mileage reimbursement, and a monthly tech stipend. Responsibilities include developmental assessments, IFSP coordination, parent coaching to empower families, and virtual services as needed while maintaining HIPAA

Qualifications

• California Speech Language Pathology license is required.
• Pediatric experience required; Early Intervention experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals.
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings; virtual services also currently available.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations).
