Job summary

Achieve Beyond in Bronx, NY seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide pediatric therapy across homes, clinics and community settings, serving children from birth to 21 with a collaborative clinical team.

The role offers a flexible schedule, HIPAA-compliant documentation, supervision, and opportunities for professional development within the NYC metro area including Bronx and surrounding boroughs.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for working with children and families.
• NYS Licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth - 21 years in natural settings.
• Educate families and caregivers on applicable intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
• Follow the unique therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment and address identified goals while documenting progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated.
• Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (HIPAA compliance).
