Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services in Queens, NY is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our pediatric team. You will provide evaluations and ongoing therapy in homes, clinics, and community settings, helping children from birth to 21 years achieve communication goals.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for working with children and families.
• NYS Licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
• Self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth – 21 years in natural settings.
• Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies for active involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics and other community settings.
• Follow the therapy plan for a family/child, plan ongoing treatment and address goals while documenting progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated and maintain records with HIPAA compliance.
