Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide early intervention services in infants and toddlers in home and community settings. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering therapy with family coaching to empower caregivers and improve developmental outcomes.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, travel to client homes, and ongoing professional development, with a supportive team environment and potential benefits.

Qualifications

• California Speech Language Pathology license is required.
• Pediatric EI experience preferred.
• Home-based service delivery experience preferred.
• Strong clinical & interpersonal skills are essential.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide speech therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and ensure progress generalization.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, at home, daycare centers, or other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information in line with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
