First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia. Pick up shifts that fit your life with flexible scheduling and options for daily or weekly pay.

Enjoy freedom to work when it suits you, whether you want occasional shifts or a fuller schedule. You must hold an active Virginia RN license and meet PCU experience and credential requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS.
• Current AHA ACLS.
• QuantiFERON-TB test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment.

Responsabilités

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
