First Choice Nurses is seeking an experienced PCU RN for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Shifts are 7a-7p or 7p-7a, with the freedom to pick schedules that fit your life. Earn competitive per diem pay and daily/weekly pay options while delivering high-quality patient care in acute-care settings.

Required: Virginia RN license, 2 years PCU experience in past 4 years, BLS/ACLS, and relevant certifications. Join a locally owned company with 15+ years in healthcare staffing.

Formación

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• BLS and ACLS current
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test current
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments
