Job summary

Allied Universal in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time X Ray Object Analysis to support site operations with flexible, dependable hours. You will perform screening, access control, and incident response while ensuring safety, service quality, and compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• X‑Ray screening experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct access screening of individuals, belongings, and/or shipments in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor entry points and restricted areas, verify authorized access, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned logistics and distribution areas and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
