Job summary

Der Dutchman Restaurant Plain City is hiring a part-time Delivery Driver in Plain City, OH. The role involves delivering products, stocking bakery items, and ensuring excellent customer service. Flexible schedules and on-the-job training are offered.

A valid driver’s license and Serve Safe certification are a plus, with no prior food service experience required. Paid at $16.00 per hour, with Sundays off and a range of staff perks including discounts, scholarship programs, and various insurance

Qualifications

• Able to communicate fluently, read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Serve Safe Certification a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Prior food service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Driver.
• Operating and routine cleaning of the delivery truck and all equipment.
• Daily ordering, packaging product, and stocking bakery and beverage products, delivering product.
• Provides great customer service and builds relationships to ensure regular client base.
• Works with Wholesale Bakery Route Supervisor to identify future sales opportunities.
• Follows safe food handling procedures.
• Ensures product is rotated and used appropriately to ensure the best quality.
• Requests direction and clarification from the Wholesale Bakery Route Supervisor as needed.
• Any other duties as needed or directed by the Wholesale Bakery Route Supervisor.
