Pets and Vets as Partners in West Lafayette, IN is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our AAHA-accredited hospital. You will work with doctors and veterinary nurses to support patient care and client service, helping the team run smoothly and efficiently.

We offer mentorship, flexible scheduling, and part-time hours (10-25 hours per week). This role provides learning opportunities in phlebotomy, radiography, and surgical assisting as you grow in the profession.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors and technicians with medical treatments and procedures
• Animal handling and restraint
• Obtain health histories from clients and document in EMR
• Maintain cleanliness of treatment and patient areas
• Restock and organize medical supplies
• Pursue ongoing knowledge through training including phlebotomy and radiography
