Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Amarillo, TX. This part-time position covers a busy retail location, delivering customer service while maintaining a visible security presence and patrolling the site by vehicle.

You will help deter incidents, assist with access control, and report any concerns to site leadership. A valid license, high school diploma or equivalent, background check, and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees per site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents, concerns, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols and observe for suspicious activity.
• Assist with access control and incident documentation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter zones.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, incident documentation, and coordination with law enforcement or emergency responders when needed.
