Pay rate is $17.00 per hour with anchor shifts and a program to earn more through additional shifts. The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to site policies, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and escalating concerns as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access‑control procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and shift activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
