Job summary

Allied Universal in Savannah, GA is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced to provide reliable protection at a manufacturing and industrial location. The role offers fixed anchor shifts and the potential to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, with a six-month site commitment.

The position requires at least one year of security experience, being 18+, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the exterior perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report access-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events following emergency protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, and communicate to Allied Universal leadership.
