A premier event rentals service in Phoenix is seeking part-time guard-carded security guards for various events. This role allows for flexible working hours where the amount you earn is up to you. Qualifications

• Must have or able to obtain an AZ Unarmed Security Guard License.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have a clean background with no felonies or misdemeanors.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be able to stand for a minimum of six hours.
• Must be able to work outside during any season in extreme weather conditions.
• Must be able to communicate in English with clients, vendors, and patrons.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have a valid phone number and valid email address.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to walk and climb stairs for extended periods of time.
• Ability to comprehend numerous policies, procedures, and concepts.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Must be customer service driven.

Responsibilities

• Watch for irregularities, such as security breaches and emergency situations.
• Approaches suspicious persons and/or notifies police as appropriate.
• Patrols assigned area on foot or in a motor vehicle.
• Examines doors, windows, and gates for security.
• Prepares routine, standardized reports.
• Provides escorts as necessary.
• Informs and warns violators of rule infractions.
