Job summary

US Traffic Control is seeking reliable, safety-minded individuals to join our team as Part-Time Traffic Flaggers. This role offers standby and rotating assignments on roadway, utility, construction, and maintenance projects, with some early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

You will direct traffic, communicate with crew, set up signs, and follow safety procedures. ATSSA Flagger Certification training is provided upon qualification, with opportunities to advance and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Strong attention to safety and situational awareness.
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions.
• Previous flagging or construction experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control traffic through construction and work zones.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and fellow flaggers.
• Set up and maintain traffic control devices and signage as directed.
• Follow all company safety policies and traffic control procedures.
• Monitor traffic conditions and respond appropriately to changing situations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing US Traffic Control.
