Job summary

iFLY Holdings, LLC is seeking a passionate STEM Educator for a part-time, flexible role in California. Most field trips run Monday–Friday in the morning, with some evenings and weekends possible.

You will guide students through wind tunnel learning, conduct activities, and work with flight instructors to illustrate physics concepts. The ideal candidate has a STEM degree, strong public speaking skills, classroom experience, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, math, STEM education, or related field.
• Mastery of science and mathematics concepts covered in K‑12 curriculum.
• Excellent public speaking and classroom management skills.
• Experience in STEM education settings and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person presentations introducing grade-appropriate STEM concepts.
• Collaborate with instructors to demonstrate wind tunnel concepts.
• Facilitate grade-appropriate science activities or experiments.
• Engage with teachers and parents to gather feedback on the program.
• Work with staff to ensure successful program implementation.
• Communicate with Education Program staff to maintain and improve program offerings.
