Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Sociology or 30 quarter hours (20 semester hours) of graduate credit in Sociology.
• One year of successful College teaching experience in Sociology or evidence for the potential for excellence in teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in sociology with approved course outcome guides; teaching may occur day, evening, weekend, at multiple campuses, online or remotely.
• Hold at least one scheduled office hour per class per week for student help sessions.
• Utilize College tools and resources, including the LMS and Disability Services software, to support teaching.
• Participate in course assessment.
• Perform other essential job functions as assigned to support the position’s objectives.
