Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Credentialing in Richardson, TX. This role offers flexible, fixed shifts with additional shift options to earn more.

The pay rate is $18.00 per hour, with a daytime schedule from 07:00 AM to 03:00 PM. Responsibilities include site‑specific security procedures, unarmed patrols, access control, incident reporting, and urgent communications with leadership.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in compliance with laws.
• Employment may involve a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site‑specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and follow emergency response activities.
• Communicate observations and maintenance issues to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
