Job summary

Allied Universal in Houston, TX is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Validation. This role offers fixed anchor shifts at a designated site with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts, helping you earn more while gaining hands-on experience and contributing to a safer community.

Pay rate is $15.95 per hour with DayTime shifts; duties include customer service, patrols, incident response, access control, and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check and drug screen required.
Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
