Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Kutztown, PA. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through an Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $16.33 per hour. The position requires at least one year of security experience, comfort with computers/tablets, and a background in customer service. Eligibility includes a high school diploma and background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors and contractors while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds and parking areas and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and according to emergency procedures.
• Monitor access and verify credentials; assist visitors and contractor entry as directed.
• Document patrol activities and incidents and communicate information to site leadership.
