Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Central, SC. The position offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

The pay rate is $17.00 per hour and the role includes customer service and access-control duties at a petrochemical site. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be comfortable with background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue temporary access materials, and maintain records.
Screen incoming personnel, vehicles, and deliveries and communicate access concerns to site contacts and leadership.
Respond to incidents and alarms following reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular patrols of access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized entry.
