Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Medical Facility in Nashville, TN. The role offers reliable, fixed shifts with optional extra shifts to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $20.20 per hour, with a schedule that includes a late-night shift and the potential to scale up to 40 hours per week. This position emphasizes patient, visitor, and staff safety within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, parking areas, entry points, and surrounding property to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations and escalating access concerns as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and security‑related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders.
