Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time at Rockport, TX. The role offers flexible, dependable hours at an assigned site with opportunities to earn more by picking up extra shifts.

Pay rate is $16.45 per hour with a fixed shift schedule of DayTime Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM. The job emphasizes customer service, incident response, patrols, access control, and safety procedures within a healthcare environment.

Competenze

• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Be able to restrain individuals, as needed.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other guests by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and conditions requiring attention.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials as directed, and providing directions to patients and visitors.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
