Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Monitoring in Watsonville, CA. The role offers flexible, anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, typically at a $20.00/hour pay rate.

The schedule includes DayTime Fri 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM and requires commitment and strong customer service at a healthcare site. Minimum requirements include at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

At least one year of security-related experience.
Guard card or license preferred.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by employment laws.
Drug screen required by Allied Universal.
Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
Monitor and control access points, verify authorized entry, issue visitor credentials, and maintain logs.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations professionally and calmly.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.
Direct visitors and support a welcoming healthcare environment while maintaining confidentiality.
