Allied Universal in Washington, DC seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol. Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred for client interactions.
• Guard Card or license is preferred where required by state law.
• CPR certification is preferred to handle emergencies.
• A background check will be conducted as part of employment.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds or more is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures for emergencies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols to deter unauthorized access.
• Observe, document, and report conditions and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access by visitors and deliveries and control entry per site requirements.
