Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a part-time Security Officer Enhanced in Tallahassee, FL. You’ll join a dynamic, welcoming team and help deliver dependable coverage with fixed shifts and flexible extra shifts via our scheduling platform.

This role offers a pay rate of $16.73 per hour, a Fri 11:00 AM – 05:00 PM schedule, and opportunities to grow toward a full-time position, with training and a retirement plan as part of our benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old; background check and drug screen if applicable.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state and role.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures.
• Perform regular foot/vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and direct authorized personnel and guests.
• Respond calmly to incidents/alarms; document observations and notify site contacts.
• Keep detailed logs and hand off shift information to ensure a professional site.
