Job summary

Allied Universal in Mullins, SC is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide dependable, flexible hours at an assigned site, supporting customer service and safety at a food and beverage production location.

The role features fixed anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and the option to earn more by picking up extra shifts across multiple sites through our scheduling platform. A background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-control concerns.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, including observations of unusual conditions, damaged property, or policy violations.
