Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Flexible Part Time driver role at our Oregon, OH site. The position offers anchor shifts with the possibility to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, providing reliable hours and growth toward full-time opportunities.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of security experience and a valid driver's license. The role includes customer service, access control, patrols, and incident reporting within a busy industrial setting.

Qualifications

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a utility-related industrial location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs while communicating observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
