Allied Universal in New York, NY is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for a commercial building. You will safeguard tenants, visitors, and property, while maintaining a visible security presence and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include routine patrols, monitoring access points, incident reporting, and collaborating with property management to ensure safety. Flexible day/evening shifts and opportunities to grow within a national security team.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management staff.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns and critical situations with calm, professional reporting.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of common areas, parking and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and report maintenance hazards and unusual conditions.
• Prepare incident reports and patrol logs in line with site requirements.
