Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in West Finley, PA to provide reliable access control, customer service, and incident response at a utilities location. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, up to a 40-hour schedule per week.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and are willing to undergo background checks and drug screening.

Qualifikationen

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Aufgaben

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access discrepancies according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security‑related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
