Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Point Monitoring in Pontiac, MI. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and an option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform to earn more.

The position supports a flexible part-time schedule with potential progression toward full-time hours. The responsibilities include access control, credential verification, visitor management, incident response, and patrols across technology

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out access control procedures.
• Verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor registration, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points and perimeter locations.
• Assist with maintaining orderly traffic flow at entrances and restricted areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor registration, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Assist with maintaining orderly traffic flow at entrances and restricted areas while providing professional support and directions to site personnel and guests.
