Job summary

BuddiesHR in Austin, TX is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit designated stores weekly and scan product barcodes on displays and in aisles. You will use a mobile app to complete scans and contribute data for store performance.

Flexibility in hours is offered, with regular 52-week scheduling and occasional longer weeks for special projects. Applicants must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle; a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with basic auto insurance.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift light loads.
• Access to reliable Wi‑Fi and a mobile device for scanning.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete store-wide display scanning within assigned deadlines.
• Support custom projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours in peak weeks.
