Job summary

Scanscape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local grocery, drug, and mass retailers to scan barcodes and collect data for weekly reports.

You will use a mobile app to record scans across store aisles, often working 7–14 hours weekly with potential extra hours for Special projects; travel compensation included. Candidates must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, and be comfortable standing and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit designated local retailers to scan barcodes and collect data weekly.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes in multiple store locations.
• Record quantity for about 45% of scanned products as required.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and deliver data to clients.
• Assist with special projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per week.
• Work across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores.
• Maintain independence and reliability in the workplace.
