Job summary

Inland Respite, Inc. is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Respite Care Providers. You will deliver in-home respite care to children, teens, and adults with autism and related developmental disabilities, ensuring safety, engagement, and family support.

This role offers flexible scheduling, local client work, and opportunities for career growth. Starting pay is $19.35 per hour for part-time shifts (up to 29 hours per week, with max 9 hours/day).

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Driver's License or State-Issued ID.
• Valid auto insurance coverage.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (Infants, Children, and Adults).
• Current negative Tuberculosis (TB) test.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (bilingual preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and provide companionship to someone with a disability.
• Assist with daily activities (feeding, dressing, toileting) and daily routines.
• Engage client with age-appropriate activities and build positive relationships with family.
• Support families by giving respite and supervising activities at home.
