Job summary

Hello ABA is seeking a motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Lusby, MD to work with children in home and school settings. You’ll deliver one-on-one ABA therapy, teach essential communication and life skills, and implement BCBA-designed plans under supervision.

The role offers a flexible part-time schedule with paid training, mentorship, and opportunities for growth. We value a caring, dependable team member who helps children thrive every day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for working with children and helping others succeed.
• Willingness to complete RBT training and pass the exam within 90 days.
• Current RBT certification preferred (but not required—we’ll help you get there).
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in childcare, autism support or special education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in home settings.
• Teach communication, social, daily living, and adaptive skills.
• Implement behavior plans designed by a BCBA in your role as an RBT.
• Track progress and collect session data accurately.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and teammates.
• Continue developing your skills through ongoing RBT training and support.
