Job summary

Professional Transportation Inc. in Mitchell, SD is hiring part-time Crew Transport Drivers to safely transport railroad crew members between yards, hotels, and stops. Starting pay is $18.00–$20.00 per hour with up to $3.00 shift differential for qualifying shifts.

We provide the vehicle and fuel, pay for training, and no CDL is required. This flexible role offers extra income without a traditional full-time commitment and supports America’s rail network.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Have a minimum of 3 years driving experience (personal or work-related).
• Must be able to pass a post offer drug screening, MVR, and homeland security background check.
• Be able to arrive to the branch location within 30 minutes to ensure on-time performance.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport railroad crew members.
• Provide a safe, comfortable, and professional experience.
• Communicate with the PTI Command Center.
• Help keep trips moving efficiently and on time.
• Open and close vehicle doors and hatches for passengers.
• Inspect the vehicle and report any concerns.
