Job summary

Wonderschool in Seymour, Wisconsin is seeking a part-time substitute teacher for preschool/daycare settings. You will fill in for staff in licensed centers serving infants to preschoolers, earning $16-$17 per hour with the potential for bonuses in your first 90 days.

Shifts are typically 4 to 8 hours between 6 AM and 6 PM. You do not need a teaching license or lesson planning. Training is provided, and you can gain varied experience across multiple early childhood programs.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation
• Preferred: experience with infants/toddlers/preschoolers in daycare or similar setting
• Preferred: CDA credential or coursework in early childhood education

Responsibilities

• Fill in for teachers in preschools and daycare centers when staff are out
• Care for and support children ages 0-5 through play and early learning activities
• Follow classroom routines and lesson plans provided by the center
• Help with activities such as arts & crafts, music, meals, and outdoor play
• Partner with teachers and center staff to maintain a safe, engaging environment
