Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our home health team in Sumter, South Carolina. You will help patients maintain and improve movement, provide interventions, and conduct reexaminations every 30 days to support safe discharge and ongoing independence.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program (CAPTE).
• One year of related physical therapy experience preferred for home health care.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Provide interventions and conduct reexaminations at least every 30 days; modify interventions as needed.
• Perform discharge planning and other duties as assigned.
