Trinity Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to assist Pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory, and updating patient records. Shifts are day shift with flexible hours.

Under supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you will help ensure accurate dispensing and patient care. The role requires MI Pharmacy Technician license; preferred PTCB certification and 2+ years in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School education or equivalent.
• Preferred: Completion of formal pharmacy technician training program.
• Minimum: Pharmacy Technician License (MI).
• Preferred: Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB).

Responsibilities

• Prepares, packages, and distributes medication orders per physician/pharmacist request and policies.
• Contributes to efficient operation of the department.
• Maintains logs, records, and required documentation.
• Orders packaging and schedules deliveries.
• Performs simple pharmaceutical calculations (days' supply, dosing).
• Participates in training and evaluation of students/residents as assigned.
• Provides excellent customer service and clear communication.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
