Job summary

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent and completion of ASHP/ACPE Pharmacy Technician training program.
• Preferred completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician certification program; or two years of college with emphasis in math, science, or medical field applications.
• Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician Licensure (Full license) AND Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) National Certification.
• Two years of pharmacy work experience.

Responsibilities

• Triage calls on a multi-line system, schedule patient appointments, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Process patient referrals and coordinate with providers.
• Support anticoagulation clinic and other ambulatory pharmacy clinics as needed for seamless care.
