Job summary

Oro Valley Hospital, part of Community Health Systems, seeks a registered nurse for a 24-hour weekly schedule with potential call in Pre-Op and PACU. You will support PACU and Pre-Op activities in a 16-bed, multi-operating room environment, delivering patient-focused perioperative care.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, and collaboration with surgeons and staff to ensure safe recovery and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in AZ or compact state.
• 1–2 years of clinical nursing in acute care preferred.
• BCLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate with physicians and care teams for safe perioperative care.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
