Third Street Family Health Services seeks a Licensed Optician to support our Vision Services program at the Malabar location in Mansfield, OH. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling (approximately 8–12 hours per week) within our community health setting.

Responsibilities include fitting and dispensing eyewear, taking precise measurements, assisting patients with frame selection, and maintaining dispensing records in compliance with Ohio regulations.

Qualificações

• Current, active Ohio Optician license required.
• Experience fitting and dispensing eyewear preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and patient care commitment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Fit and dispense prescription eyewear per Ohio requirements.
• Assist patients with frame selection and eyewear needs.
• Take and verify measurements for proper fitting.
• Review prescriptions and ensure accuracy of eyewear.
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to eyewear.
• Educate patients on use and care of eyewear.
• Maintain accurate patient and dispensing records.
• Collaborate with Vision Services team to meet patient needs.
• Follow organizational and regulatory requirements.
