Job summary

Good Samaritan Society (in partnership with Sanford Health) seeks an Occupational Therapist in Fargo, ND. The position is part-time with a 24-hour weekly commitment, providing evaluations, treatment, and education for residents and patients in a compassionate care setting.

You will supervise assistants and collaborate with providers, case managers, and families to support meaningful daily activities and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist.
• NBCOT certification preferred.
• BLS for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
• Temporary license considered for ND/SD/IA/MN new graduates during testing phase.

Responsibilities

• Conducts evaluations and provides interventions for residents and patients.
• Evaluates abilities and develops realistic therapy goals.
• Documents information for evaluation and establishes therapeutic plans.
• Provides education to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes.
• Demonstrates and integrates current research into daily treatment.
• Provides ongoing education and training to peers in the area(s) of expertise.
