Job summary

HealthOp Solutions is seeking a Part-Time OB/GYN hospitalist to provide inpatient obstetric care in a high-volume labor and delivery setting in Phoenix, Arizona. The role is 3–4 shifts per month with 12-hour or 24-hour shift options, operating as a 1099 independent contractor with no health insurance or PTO provided.

Compensation is $170/hour, with 24/7 MFM, anesthesia, and experienced L&D teams to support clinical practice and patient care.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from a US medical school; OB/GYN board certified or eligible; completed ACGME OB/GYN residency.
• Arizona medical license or eligible to obtain license.
• Experience in hospitalist or inpatient obstetrics preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead labor and delivery care for low- and high-risk patients.
• Perform cesarean deliveries, vaginal births, and OB/GYN emergency procedures.
• Manage inpatient and ED OB/GYN consults.
• Collaborate with nursing, anesthesia, and MFM teams.
• Complete accurate, timely EMR documentation.
