Lap of Love seeks a Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian to provide hospice and euthanasia care in the San Francisco North Bay area. You’ll visit families at home, enjoying a flexible 2–5 day per week schedule with 3–4 appointments daily, balancing professional fulfillment with personal life. The role requires a DVM with a U.S. driver’s license, weekend availability, and physical capacity for lifting.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Travel to client homes across the San Francisco North Bay area (including Vacaville, Fairfield, Vallejo, Benicia, Napa, Concord, Novato).
• Maintain a flexible schedule (2–5 days per week) with 3–4 unhurried appointments per day.
• Practice medicine that aligns with Lap of Love values while delivering meaningful care.
