Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service retail locations in Smyrna, TN and surrounding areas. You will display and maintain greeting cards, gift wrap, and party goods while managing inventory and backroom organization.

Training is provided, and a tablet will be used for scheduling and communications. This role emphasizes independent route work with opportunities to extend hours around major holidays and to interact with store staff during daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple retail locations.
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates.
• Technological competency—able to learn and use company-provided tablet.
• Meet scheduling needs including weekends and major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display products within greeting card departments and other locations.
• Maintain organized backroom areas and handle inventory tasks.
• Communicate with management about service or schedule questions.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Build relationships with store staff during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around holidays.
• Assist with store resets, fixtures, or product relocation as needed.
• Plan weekly service schedules and workload in stores using a company tablet.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
