Job summary

Kimball Solutions World Headquarters in Jasper, Indiana, is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Specialist to join the Safety, Environmental, Facilities team. The role involves hands-on facilities maintenance, preventative care, and routine repairs to keep the HQ operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include snow removal, landscape work, basic electrical/HVAC/plumbing, painting, and assisting with recycling efforts.

Qualifications

MS Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency.
Proficient in the English language.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Ability to problem solve and make simple decisions.
Ability to work with all levels of the organization and manage contractors.
On-premises attendance with flexible hours.
Frequent standing, walking, bending in indoor/outdoor environments during risk analysis and assessment.
Ability to perform manual labor.
Previous maintenance experience is a plus.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Perform facilities maintenance related activities necessary to proactively maintain the World Headquarters.
Execute preventative maintenance and perform routine troubleshooting and repair on equipment.
Snow removal, yard mowing and trimming, landscape work, basic electrical/HVAC/plumbing, painting, light construction, and general maintenance.
Help manage recycling efforts and support SEF team initiatives.
Report to the HQ Safety, Environment and Facilities Manager and assist with maintenance projects as needed.
