Arbors at Fairlawn is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time day shift. The role coordinates and provides nursing care for residents, supervises clinical staff, administers medications, and ensures compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN/LNV school of nursing.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid LPN/LVN license in the state employed.
• One year nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document residents' condition and nursing needs.
• Implement physicians' orders accurately and promptly.
• Assign nursing care to team members per resident needs.
• Supervise junior staff and CNAs.
• Administer medications and treatments; document as required by rules.
• Participate in orientation and in-service training.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are maintained and safe.
• Report and record pertinent observations and reactions.
• Coordinate nursing care during therapies or procedures.
• Interview applicants and participate in hiring decisions.
• Schedule and direct nursing staff; manage unit within scope.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate housekeeping/maintenance needs.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
