Job summary

Sbhonline is seeking an experienced Kitchen Designer for our Ocean, NJ studio. This freelance role supports residential projects, creating functional layouts and renderings while working directly with homeowners, contractors, and designers.

The ideal candidate will have strong cabinetry knowledge, proficiency with design software (2020 Design preferred), and the ability to manage projects independently. Flexible part-time or full/part-time hours, with compensation based on project work.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen design experience required.
• Proficiency with kitchen design software, preferably 2020 Design.
• Strong knowledge of cabinetry, appliances, countertops, and kitchen layouts.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines.
• Availability for occasional client meetings at our Ocean, NJ showroom.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their needs, style, and budget.
• Create functional and attractive kitchen designs.
• Prepare floor plans, elevations, renderings, and cabinet specifications.
• Revise designs based on client feedback.
• Coordinate with our sales and project teams.
• Review measurements and help ensure orders are accurate.
